Born and raised in the Bay Area of California, Maria Teplova is a painter currently studying at California Institute of the Arts. Working with various wet mediums, her work focuses on our relationship with modern technology and infrastructure through the lens of domestic, public, and natural spaces. Maria has experience in arts education for kids and teens, studio assistance, mural painting, and freelance work, and is currently pursuing opportunities in gallery administration, outreach, research, and curation.
